Journalism & Media Study Tours

As a vibrant democracy and idea of free expression, India has a dymanic press and media. With the explosion in digital media and cable/satellite TV, there is intense competition within the media on who gets the news first, use of technology in news & information collection and propagation. 

We are eager to work with universities and other interested groups in designing custom study tours of India to help visitors understand the unique cultural and market environment existing in India. The objectives could be multi-fold:

  • To propagate models of development & evolution existing in the western world
  • To develop new models of functioning more relevant for the developing world
  • To explore partnership, collaboration, investment opportunities
  • Training and familiarisation leading to subsequent work opportunities
  • To explore joint international growth opportunities

Over the years the country has seen the emergence of several large media units, some of the prominent ones being Times Group, Indian Express, Hindustan Times & HT-Media, India Today Group, Indian Express, TV-18, UTV, Zee Telefilms, NDTV, Dainik Jagran.
